Martin House

The homeowner had a prior remodel of the front exterior of the house that led directly to quality concerns and issues by the original contractor resulting in water intrusion into the interior of the house.

We were contacted to conduct an initial inspection of the house to determine the cause of the water intrusion, repair the water damage, redesign and replace the damaged front porch, and remodel the back porch.

The cause of the water damage was the result of exterior flashing on the front elevation being improperly installed allowing water to flow directly into the interior of the house.

The front lower porch ceiling was removed and replaced. The front upper porch flooring was removed and replaced. All the flashing was removed and properly reinstalled. The back porch was redesigned along with the replacement of the back porch handrails, flooring, flashing, and screens resulting in the creation of an outdoor living space.
